Academic institutions are the backyard of aCGT.

aCGT research group is comprised of an internal team together with multiple academic institutions, which serve as innovative sources and even small-scale processing development center for some of our products. Many of our pipelines stem from or are inspired by collaboration with institutions. Some examples of collaborative institutions are shown below.

1. Hunan University

Hunan University is a prestigious institution of higher learning located in Changsha, the capital city of Hunan Province, China. Established in 1903, it has a long and storied history. The stem cell and regenerative medicine research group led by Professor Jihong Yan is dedicated to the basic and clinical transformation research of mesenchymal stem cells and their derivatives. The main research directions include: 1. Research on stem cell differentiation and tissue regeneration and repair mechanisms; 2. Isolation and purification of extracellular vesicles derived from mesenchymal stem cells and research on related indications; 3. Treatment and transformation of genetically engineered stem cells. In recent years, the research group has been approved by multiple National Natural Science Foundation of China, Beijing Natural Science Foundation of China, and provincial and ministerial level projects, and has published more than 20 SCI papers publicly. Professor Yan's research group and aCell mainly conduct research on cell derived products such as extracellular vesicles.
